This would enable their stakeholders to make more informed business decisions, moving away from an invoice-centric sales analysis to an annual recurring revenue (ARR)-centric one through self-service Power BI dashboards.
The end game? Leverage multiple data streams across Microsoft Azure and Snowflake to create a single source of truth—resulting in real-time data analysis and increased data quality, eliminating thousands of duplicate records.

Our Solution: Strategizing a New Modern Data Platform
Establishing One Data Source
To support Vertex’s strategy of implementing a modern data platform, we developed a roadmap to improve the speed and effectiveness of extracting, analyzing and leveraging data. The plan?
- Establish a data governance board with the systems and practices required to manage the data life cycle.
- Systematically measure and analyze data quality, resolving potential incidents with Vertex.
- Extract data sources from Salesforce, Workday and Profisee into Snowflake to deploy in the Azure ecosystem.
- Complete a Profisee upgrade along with enhancements and operational support.
- Help build an infrastructure to enable the Customer 360 effort.
