(HANOVER, Md., Oct. 30, 2024) – TEKsystems, a global provider of technology, business and talent solutions for more than 80% of the Fortune 500, announced the inclusion of Danielle Gonzales, regional director at TEKsystems, in the 2025 HITEC 100 list, which honors the most influential and distinguished Hispanic professionals in technology.
Throughout her career, Danielle Gonzales has led with a deep commitment to driving meaningful change through intentional diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts. She held a seat on TEKsystems’ executive inclusion board and served as the executive sponsor and founding member for AdelanTEK—TEKsystems’ Latino/Hispanic employee network. In 2020, Danielle was accepted into HITEC’s Emerging Executive Program, a year-long, cohort-based initiative designed to develop emergent and high-potential Hispanic technology leaders aspiring to become tomorrow’s top corporate executives. At TEKsystems, Danielle leads a team of risk and security professionals, helping customers with digital transformation initiatives safeguard their data, people, product and brand.
“I am honored to receive this award—to be nominated alongside such talented individuals is recognition in itself,” Danielle said. “It’s a testament to the possibilities that exist for underrepresented groups in tech. I hope the journeys of all HITEC awardees inspire others to pursue their dreams, regardless of the obstacles.”
Every year, HITEC recognizes the achievements and contributions of U.S.-based Hispanic technology leaders. Awardees are evaluated based on the impact of work, their leadership within the ever-changing global landscape of technology, and their efforts to mentor and develop the next generation of Hispanic technology leaders.
“The HITEC 100 leaders inspire our community,” said Alvaro Celis, HITEC board member and awards committee chair. “They trailblaze new and exciting paths for our industry and society. They are the lighthouse of the art of the possible.”
Recipients of the 2025 HITEC 100 award include some of the world’s most esteemed Hispanic technology leaders from global Fortune 100 firms, including CEOs, CIOs and CTOs. Forty-six percent of those named to this year’s HITEC 100 list are Latinas, and the recipients come from 16 unique countries throughout Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
“Danielle exemplifies our core values as a leader,” said Franklin Reed, executive director of global inclusion, equity and diversity at TEKsystems. “Her dedication, innovative thinking and commitment to excellence have not only earned this recognition but set a standard for how we can operate as a team and what we can achieve together.”
The HITEC 100 was recognized at the HITEC 100 and Corporate Awards Gala on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, as part of the organization’s Fall Leadership Summit hosted by Capital One in McLean, Virginia.
